We have airline tickets, hotels booked for first few days, car hire organised, international driving licences, Broadway tickets... There are so many other possibilities to organised, but really the main things to take are Bill, Liz, Laura and of course the credit card.
The realities of leaving home for a few weeks require some thought. Toby and Milo, chooks, bills to pre-pay, home security (though Ashley will be here), plant care, clients to notify......
