Bill has been worried about the car I have hired for the next month. It was described as 'full size', as I figured we would be going a long way so comfort would be good. He imagined the full sized USA car of old, and was having nightmares at the prospect of driving it on the wrong side of the road, hemisphere etc in unfamiliar territory. That was until they upgraded us to a Chevy Traverse (4 x 4). He seems to have got over his concern about driving a large car and is more than happy with it!
When our son, David married recently his wedding car was unavailable at the last minute and he was offered a Mercedes upgrade, which he chose not to take in favour of a 4 x 4. We were also offered a Merc, but the Chevy won the day. Like father, like son!
